Donate That Old Car to KZFR

We’re all sunshine and rainbows over here at KZFR, thanks to some of our recent vehicle donors! Donating a vehicle is not only easy, but it’s also fun! Whether it’s a classic car leaving a legacy for grandma or honoring dad’s favorite Chevy pick-up with a memorable way to say goodbye, every vehicle donation is a unique gift with the potential to bring a great story along for the ride.

If you have a vehicle—but would prefer to keep the memories instead of the car, donate it to KZFR! We consider all types of vehicle donations, whether they’re running or not.

To donate, simply call 888.593.7288 or submit the online donation form at https://careasy.org/nonprofit/kzfr-community-radio. Once you’ve successfully completed the form online or over the phone, our Vehicle Donation Support Team will help you complete your donation and arrange for your free pick-up. When the driver arrives for your tax-deductible gift, you’ll be provided with the donation receipt.

Your generous gift of an unwanted vehicle, helps sustain the quality programming we provide on KZFR! And, your donation is tax deductible too! It's an easy way to get rid of that vehicle or boat, get a tax deduction and support KZFR, too! Only 3 Steps...

  • Step #1: Call 888.593.7288 or Click Here
  • Step #2: Schedule a Pick Up often within 48 hrs
  • Step #3: Wave goodbye to that junk car!

You get a tax receipt and KZFR turns your car into great radio programs.

The car does not need to be running but it does need to have an engine, wheels and a valid pink slip. You will receive a Donation Certificate at the time of pick up and receive a receipt letter for your taxes once the car is sold usually within a month.

Congratulations to Katharine Sherman for winning our 35th Anniversary Art Contest! Their cool vintage radio design will be featured on a commemorative t-shirt during our upcoming Spring Pledge Drive.
