We are honored to offer you four free Skill Share presentations at the Touch of Chico this year on Sunday, Sept 15th, Noon-4pm at the Chico Creek Nature Center!

Noon "Body and Mind Tools to Stay Calm and Centered" with Gayle Kimball

Reduce your stress response utilizing energy tools--the chakras, meridians, and kinesiology--as well as your mind. We'll do visualizations to harness the power of thought. A brief explanation of why these subtle energy tools work will be provided. Gayle Kimball, Ph.D. is the author of 25 books including Calm: How to Thrive in Challenging Times, plus Calm Parents and Children, Mysteries of Knowledge Beyond Our Senses, and Essential Energy Tools. 1pm "Ortho-Bionomy" with Jim Berns

Jim Berns is a Registered Ortho-Bionomy® Advanced Instructor and has been trained directly by the founder, Arthur Lincoln Pauls D.O. Jim is co-author with Kathy Kain of the training book Ortho-Bionomy A Practical Manual. He has taught Ortho-Bionomy internationally. Jim was given the “Excellence in Massage Education Award’ by the AMTA-CA for his excellence in teaching and sharing his knowledge. His private practice has had many successful referral cases including post surgery work, accident cases, emotional-trauma, peak performance, and pain management. 2pm "Compassionate Inquiry" with Rakel Kieding

Rakel Kieding will be giving a presentation about Compassionate Inquiry a therapeutic approach to processing traumatic experiences and reconnecting with oneself and the body to find peace, vitality and presence.  Trained under Gabor Maté, Sat Dharam Kaur and their team, Rakel has been guiding people through the process for 4 years, and is thrilled to be making a difference in people's lives and in the world.  Though CI is efficient as a stand-alone approach to healing it was designed to assist people in and around psychedelic treatments and she will share some about that too. Last, but not least, Rakel will be presenting some touch on about the health benefits of molecularhydrogen, as the over 2000 clinical studies are catching attention. Rakel is a big advocate for the deep hydration it provides for a dehydrated humanity, as dehydration has been causing everything from depression to diabetes, neurological disorders to gut health and autoimmune diseases. As we discover the connections between the psych-emotional and the physical, Rakel is eager to work from all sides of humanity.

3pm "Storytelling of Ikigai" Jesi Naomi

Come enjoy storytelling of IKIGAI a road map into shifting YOUR JOB into YOUR LIFE WORK! Introduce or refresh your IKIGAI:  LIFE PURPOSE or (LIFE’S WORTH). This is an interactive workshop so please bring your favorite journal, a pen, even better a close friend. IKIGAI is an ancient philosophy created by the sages of Okinawa. Made up of two words in Japanese IKI=LIFE and GAI=Worth - Ikigai translates to Life’s Worth or Life Value. “The key is to do what you are meant to do . You have gifts that are begging to be put to good use. Understanding Ikigai is a way to put your gifts to work so you ca enjoy their benefits.” (Tim Tamashiro 2019) For centuries people of Okinawa have lived long and healthy lives.  As a part of a balanced life, they DO what they were MEANT TO DO.
