I feature all of the many styles of jazz from the 20's to present. The show is purely spontaneous. There are vocalist like Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Melody Gardot, Cecille McLorin Salvant, Helen Merrill, Joe Williams, Kurt Elling, Betty Carter and Eddie Jefferson. With musicians like Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Dave Liebman, Pat Metheny John Scofield, Bill Frisell, Janel Leppin, and many others. There will always be a Monk set. This is were I select one of his composition's and play three different versions of it.
